Because he fills a need. We dont need him to do more right now. He had a great game last week without montgomery in the lineup. Now monty is back and he returns to being our workhorse. Monty is only here for one year (for now) so might as well use him for what we are paying him for. Gibbs time will come. Not every player drafted early has to come in and make an impact right away, especially not when its not necessarily needed.
