Right?! He had to be carted off haha; carted off usually = season ended.

But hopefully this doesn't have an impact on our Dline, CJ Mosley back after bye.

yeah lmao--i'm guessing caldwell will change what he most likely meant by his "2 week suspension".

When he first said it I thought he meant 2 games--but now I'm hoping he counts our bye week as a week...

Mosley is a beast when he's out there! l

fairley out 4-5 weeks due to an MCL,PCL sprain.....damnit

Absolutely great news considering the worst case scenario of season ending. Sucks that we won't have him for 2 tough road games @AZ & @NE. I'll be happy with a split at this point

If he told Mosley 2 games, I hope he sticks too it.
He cannot be a push over to these guys.

damn I thought the NE game was here at home...those 2 will be tough for sure..Miami won't be a pushover either. The return of Delmas lol. And I think with fairley getting injured I think its going to lead more towards Suh staying over Nick

I think any chance of suh staying got shot down once Gerald McCoy signed his deal. We can't have 3 monster deals that eat up around 30% of the cap

And fairley injury shouldn't affect his contract since he doesn't need surgery, just rest since it's a sprain

we need to be healthy for the end of the season, just realized 4 out of our last 5 are divisional games Chicago twice and Minnesota and GB again. Hopefully this time we can control our destiny and win the division.

I think if you guys make some waves in the playoffs this year SUH will be much more willing to take a smaller contract to actually win games.

Also... been watching football for ~20 years.... this may be the best Lions team I can remember.

This, good thing the saints beat the packers but we just need to keep winning, and the packers to keep losing. We would be lucky to split AZ and NE both at their homes; but I'm sure we can do it. I really hope it doesn't go down to the end of the season...

Just saw after the bye - 1 home, 2 away, then 3 home. Those 3 home games is where we have to get our boost to go into the last 2 away division games safely IMO, we just need pack to keep losing, they still need to play NE and AZ right? Those are the hardest games I see for us and them after division games. Miami and Bucs should be no gimmie but more comfortable with those at home than the other two.

Saw an interesting fact:

Peyton Manning after 64 games:
111 TDs and 81 INTs

Matt Stafford after 64 games:
112 TDs and 76 INTs

Obviously not saying Stafford is next Manning, but its promising knowing the greatest QB of all time had trouble early in his career also. And anybody that says Megatron >, lets not forget Stafford took over the only 0-16 team in history, completely devoid of talent.

Completion % are also similar: Peyton is about 60.5% to Stafford's 60%.
