The Wes Welker situation probably discourages Edelman/Amendola from leaving .. they know they won't be valued by the free market as much as the Pats value them
I think for the Pats' to part ways with butler this season that they would only accept overpay (IMO) (think Danny Ainge :rofl: ). Butler is more valuable to the patriots this season than he would be on the saints. I don't think Butler to the Saints makes them even close to a SB contender this season so i don't see the trade happening.
and on the second part you're probably right, especially in Danny's case. I bet Jules could get a little more $ else where but probably not anywhere near as much to make it worthwhile for him.
