I think the most alarming thing about this pre season is WHERE THE HELL IS MYERS?

The guy is invisible... he made one catch and did nothing with it.

Other than that he's never open... if this kid doesn't play how he did in Oakland we have a serious problem this season unless Robinson emerges.(I predict this is what will happen)

Look, we rarely use the TE much in our offense as it is... just the way it's always been.

We've never had a Jason Witten or Tony Gonzalez so we always have to make due with what we have. Be that as it may, Myers has shown nothing to me this pre season... not a damn thing. I hope Eli's not worried and it's not an issue in the regular season because I sure am worried.

And your point about Randle. It's strange, it's almost like the coaches are shelving him and hiding him for the regular season. There's no other reason why he hasn't gotten much playing time this pre season, none. They know he's 100% ready to go and I agree, it's smart.

Well Shockey was used. And Boss because of the leftovers from the shockey era.
And maybe they are. Eli has never had trouble building rapport with a tight end (whether good or shitty)

Lol true.

And he was a really good blocker too... he was just a really good receiving TE and loved to be out there, can't say I blame him. We underutilized him.
