I am one of 23 people thus far that voted No, Jordy is not elite.

However, he is Elite in our system.

Therefore Jordy is an Elite Receiver in the Packers system but overall he is not an Elite Wide Receiver without Rodgers.

I mean, he obviously has great hands and he's smart enough to get into position to make these plays. But I don't know that I'd call more than 4 or 5 WRs Elite.

I'll agree to that. He's not an elite wr overall, however in our system he excels GREATLY and is magnificent, but without Rodgers I just can't see him more than a good WR. The combo they have together is crazy!

Although some of Jordy's catches are absolute insanity.

wow. someone who actually uses discretion with that word. impressive. love the Great White as much as the next guy, but he's definitely not in the realm of Megatron, Adriel Jeremiah, Fitz, Dez BabyBryant or Bmarsh.

Hard to consistently put up number when Rodgers distributes the ball so effectively, yet... when healthy, he's been known to do so. Couple of those snags he had were impeccable

Exactly. The two of them just seem to hit that impossibly perfect slant throw and the wide open homerun every game. Their chemistry is so much fun to watch.

as soon as i saw a LB lined up in front of him i called it out and watched it happen

saw Jordy blow it up like that just a couple weeks ago v the Ravens.

my personal favorite is the back-shoulder fade. not quite as prevalent with cobbgod and jones out, but he still will get a couple each game :)

Packers TE Jermichael Finley wrote a first-person piece for The MMQB website, discussing his injury and ongoing recovery.

Here are a couple of excerpts of his comments.

After the hit: “It all happened very quickly. I remember seeing the defender out of the corner of my eye, and I intentionally lowered my head and shoulders to protect my knees. After I got hit, in the fourth quarter of our win against the Browns last week, my eyes were wide open. I was very conscious, but I could not move. I looked my teammate Andrew Quarless directly in the eye and whispered, ‘Help me Q. I can’t move; I can’t breathe.’ The scariest moment was seeing the fear in Q’s eyes. I knew something was wrong, but his reaction verified it. That really shook me up.”

Finley says he plans to play football again, but he doesn’t know when.

“Based on the feedback I’ve received from doctors at this point, the question is not if I’ll play again, but when. There is no better feeling in the world than making the ‘Lambeau Leap’ into the stands, and I fully intend on having that surreal feeling again soon. I will do everything in my power to rehab and get back to the player I have been, and improve into the player I know I can be.”

Sum Finley pls.

Career year? With all the time he lost to injury, last season might have been the worst of his career.
