Traded Bowanko to the Ravens for an undisclosed draft pick. Likely a 6th or 7th round pick.

Not really any surprising cuts to get down to 53.

Is he at least an average backup?

I figured the Ravens were set at C between Ryan Jensen and Jeremy Zuttah (Zuttah being the lesser of the two).

He played decent the one year he got to really play, but they changed from a Zone run scheme to a Power run scheme after that year and he's better in a Zone scheme.

He had a hip injury that cost him a season last year or the year before.

He lacks strength, but hes fairly athletic for a big man.
