You may be right but if they franchise tag him he can't do anything about it really. He could play poorly or fake an injury, but it's not like he's going to retire or pull a Barry Sanders because he's unhappy. He'll still make big money and will stay in a Lions uniform.

could be, not sure but was in the papers down here and on the sports radio station, I feel if anything happens Lions will have first dibs...if he does wanna walk and knows where he wants to go, there will be little talk of it...I say if we can afford it, and it isn't a ridiculous contract (like what the tigers gave fielder) he will stay a Lion..

This. I think at the end of the year they will make a choice. It'll be Suh or it'll be Fairley.

Yeah, no way we have both unless they want to stay and will sign for a little less to keep playing together, but I doubt it unless we go somewhere this post season and make him feel like he has a shot at a super bowl in Detroit.
