How do you tell anyone, in good conscience, that you're not a rich kid? Lol

I'm not lol.

Once I hit 18 I had to buy and pay for anything I wanted

My mom and dad drove a 96 ford Taurus and 01 dodge van forever.

Shit I made a little less than half of what my dad made last year and he works twice as much as I do

That's not what I meant at all. In high school and before, you had the option of keeping to yourself. But as an undergrad, most true introverts are exposed to a social element they have never been forced to deal with for the first time. Mandatory group projects, presentations and dorm life depending on your major and situation.

Idk. I've never really had the option to be an introvert. My family moved every year or couple years so I constantly had to make new friends. By the 6th grade, I was at my 6th school. I had to learn to adjust and adapt repeatedly, so I became great at socializing. Now, I can spend a whole day by myself or with friends. Doesn't matter to me. I saw in your next post about being the center of attention... Deep down.... I love that shit. I feed off it to keep the energy in the room going

I understand your point and it can be similar to work environments where you're forced to step out of your comfort zone.

I never went to college, mostly because I wasn't a big fan of school. Sitting in a classroom for hours, only to get a bunch more hours of homework just seemed stupid to me. I much rather would have spent those hours working and making $$.

I do have my regrets about not going to college of course, mainly just for the experiences though. I've always been the hard working, strong silent type who just puts his nose down and gets shit done. I've always did physical things and that's what I prefer to do. Which is why I work construction, carpentry and landscaping. Between the 3, I usually always have something lined up for whenever some down time might come in one of the other jobs. Yea, I'll probably never be some rich S.O.B and my body will probably break down sooner rather than later, but being 6'2 and about 235 it's no problem right now.

I went to 3 different schools growing up due to moving. One school from K-4th grade. Another for 5th-8th grade and another for 9th-12th. My middle school and high school where both pretty small. I'm not sure how many kids total where at my middle school during 5th-8th, but my high school only had about 530 kids total my Senior year.

I don't think I'm a complete introvert, because I do enjoy partying and going out with people from time to time. I do also love time to just myself and my thoughts though. Part of that is being so shy when I was younger, but like I said in my post the other day, I did grow out of it some from 7th grade and beyond. I'm still pretty damn quiet and shy though until I get to know people a good bit.

Also, I have some mild OCD (and possibly ADD) elements that can flare up when I'm in a huge group of people for way too long. Between that and with being a normal user of the herb, my mind is always going regardless of the situation. Which can be very overwhelming at certain times and that's why I have to just close myself off from people at times. I think that's part of the reason why I enjoy doing physical things because it helps to get my brain on just one or two set things at one said time, rather than multiple different things all rolling around at once. That, as well as growing up playing Football and Basketball because I can zone out everything else and just focus on that.

Monica. Yeah I feel ya. Everyone has their own ways of breaking out of their shell and exploring their social boundaries. We each have experiences that shape the way we act and I don't really fault people for being introverted... just hard for me to grasp the concept really since that is the opposite of me. Like I said though, I can spend multiple days by myself and not have an issue with it. And you better believe over the course of a Wisconsin winter, that happens quite often; where I can't even get my car out of the snow because it was plowed in lol.

I'm taking you to a jags game later. Adding another life goal. Already met 3 people from d2jsp. You're on my list, KID

For sure man. Everybody has to deal with different experiences and they learn to cope with things in different ways. Don't get me wrong, there's definitely some times when I wouldn't mind being the out going crazy wild man, but that's just not who I am.

You have to be the engaging guy while bartending. I honestly couldn't do that unless I had a good amount of drinks in me, which in turn wouldn't let me do my job correctly lol. Me basically being a work horse, I do my best work when I'm simply told/knows what needs to be done and I'm all focus'd on the task. Basically, point me in the direction and get the fuck outta my way.

I'm curious who are the 3 people you've met.
