Carter and Alexander are clear upgrades and make the DB depth MUCH improved. They needed help there desperately. Alexander is an immediate major upgrade as our #2 on the outside and Carter has the ability to be one of the best nickel corners in football (as if the eagles dont already have one in DeJean).

Its just inconsequential depth. Not worthy of praise. Gms just doing what he should be doing. Post could have been made about Philips. Alexander looks cooked. Reason why you switched a 7th for a 6th.....

Classic case of solid or good players struggling on bad teams.

Yeah...there have been a few in recent years that turned that around pretty quickly on the Eagles. Well worth the risk and improves depth which was a need. This is what Howie does, grabs the low hanging fruit and maximizes them on a real team. Alexander has an injury history which is the concern.

Did you watch Adoree Jackson this season? Can't get any worse than him.
