Why is there even a debate as to when Calvin Johnson will be playing again?
A high ankle sprain typically requires at least two or three weeks to heal properly.
At best he should be ready to play in mid October. That's assuming he was already resting for the past week. But yet he played a little bit against the Bills and may play against the Vikings on Sunday. Isn't he risking further injury by playing through the ankle sprain?
The head coach of the Lions has to step up and keep him off the field against the Vikings.
That is because it isn't a high ankle sprain.
When you have a high ankle sprain you can hardly walk. He was walking just fine just minutes after the injury.
He might have said it was a HASprain, but there has been no official word. I highly doubt it is.
