i dont really see whats stopping him from signing a 1 year deal with us, dude clearly isnt getting offers he likes elsewhere, might was well prove yourself, get another ring, then get that big money contract for the last time in your career

lol he's what 32? he's not getting another big contract after this, probably why he's trying to get as much $ as he can now

If he plays for NE and does as well as I anticipate on a one year deal. It's possible he could get 15m+ on a 2 year somewhere else. I want him, but you're right, he's not going to get a "big" contract, but he could certainly increase his value by playing with a team that'll win 11 games minimum and make the playoffs.

How would you guys feel about givint Blount $3.2 million?
Burkhead makes 3.1... don't think Blount will be back for any less. And if Blount wants more than 3 to 4 million let him walk by all means

For some reason,I just don't care about him. I don't know why, but I don't feel like that he adds that much to the team that we don't already have

what are you on, nobody's going to pay a 33 year old power back +7.5mil a year.

He had 18 touchdowns this year lol. I like him. Is he an elite RB? Of course not. I just don't want to pats to give him a lot of garunteed money, maybe give him a high incentive base contract or something.

i would take blount for 3.2 over ap for 7.5 every single time. i'm biased cause i fucking love blount, but we should really resign him. i like this having an arsenal of a backfield thing we've been doing. we're stacked.

well duh... rofl

what about AP for 3.2 vs Blount for 3.2? that'd be tough for me, I think I would still take Blount. I'm sure a lot of others would disagree.

I don't know if AP would take 3 million though. Blount probably would. (just guessing obviously)

i would take AP there. but that would never happen.
even if ap was at 5, i'd still take blount at 3.2, but dead even i think it would be cool to have AP

idk... torn meniscus last year, on top of his fumbling issues (BB HATES fumblers), 2+ years older than Blount?. I'm not sure i'd even feel comfortable giving him 5 million. 3 million i'd be fine with, like you said that would never happen. I agree though, it would be cool to see him play for us...
