Yeah, I don't know who the 3rd Colts QB on their roster is, but the Colts can't afford to just have Luck and some other randoms with Luck's injury/shoulder history, they need a guy who's seen action, which is Jacoby.
The bigger question is though why would the seahawks be willing to offer such a high draft pick for just a back up QB? regardless of whether they were high on Jacoby or not.
They have no solid options behind Wilson I assume is why they make the offer. Plus a quality backup that can carry a few games as a starter can easily get you back the pick you used.
2 draft's away 2nd is a equivalent to the upcoming drafts 3rd rounder right? Isn't that how they view it value wise.
