As far as #1 goes, yea sure thing bud. If that's what helps you sleep at night thinking that.
#2, you are just throwing that out of your ass because he hasn't really been given the chance to prove if he can or not.
#3, If you think what the team website lists the players at are their actual weights then really I probably shouldn't even keep responding to be honest. Really says all I need to know.
#4, He was drafted in April. He had all of May, June, July and August to build more muscle mass and gain weight before the season started.
The staff decision about not playing him full time up until now had nothing to do with durability concerns that you seem so harped on. It was due to taking on the responsibility of learning two different playbooks at the same time.
1. if it weren't true, you'd have fucking quoted me already saying it.
2. He hasn't been given the chance
BECAUSE THE TEAM DOES NOT THINK HE CAN HANDLE IT YET DUE TO DURABILITY CONCERNS BASED ON HIS WEIGHT3. Several things to consider here. The team website is the "official" listing for him, and it corroborates the weight I mentioned earlier in this thread. Also, again as mentioned, players generally tend to lose weight during the season, not gain it. Virtually all players at skill positions lose it or maintain it but almost never gain until the offseason.
4. And the team lists him at 185.
The staff decision about hnot playing him full time *TWO WAYS* is entirely about his durability. Learning the playbook certainly applies to the offense, but not the defense. THere is no "two playbooks at te same time" going on here, nor would they be similar in difficulty to learn. All he needs to learn as a corner is his coverage, which he's played all his life.
Again, I played ball, its clear you have not. I've learned "both playbooks" myself having played Linebacker and Tight End in high school, and I've had the same durability conversation with my coahces when I played D2 ball at Pitt State as a Linebacker (trying to play two ways at tight end).
I remember now why you're on my block list, despite it not actually blocking your nonsense on the site.
