Coop has never played RG in his life and Arians was insistent on playing him at LG since he was drafted, kicking Daryn Colledge to right guard in the preseason before Cooper broke his leg, and kicking Larsen to RG when Cooper replaced Fanaika in the line-up. Doubt Iupati signed for less than Wis will as well, but only time will tell there. Its an upgrade on Larsen at LG either way(Cooper/Iupati) and with whats invested should be an upgrade on Fanaika as well at RG, just don't know what kind of value we will get out of Iupati/Cooper at a new position.
Lyle was awful last year and I'd rather have Larsen(or Steen/FA) play there and cut Lyle for the cap room. Looks like Dan Williams will get more money elsewhere so we still need a true nose or our run-d will be a joke like it was not too long ago. Still need a CB unless we want Powers to play island coverage against #2 WRs(Powers could still be a cap casualty as well). Still need a veteran edge-rusher, can't play Okafor on run-downs and he just got arrested.
I know Lyle sucks but I have a soft spot in my heart for him for whatever reason lol.
Marcus Peters sures up our cb2 issue.
And I know Coop has played lg all his career but I mean watching him play, it looks like the switch to rg might be best.
