I hope the Texans don't get him, that team is way too talented already.
Only if Brian Cushing is back to beast mode and dominates in 2013. I want that leader at every level on defense. Watt on D-Line, Cushing at Inside linebacker, Ed Reed at safety and Jonathan Joseph at cornerback. The rest of the defense can feed off their leadership.
Cushing had the same surgeon (Dr. Andrews) and injury as Adrian Peterson. And Peterson was back and better than ever in only nine months. Cushing is already running right now. It's been five months and the regular season is still another six months away. Plenty of time for him to make a full recovery before the first game.
Look at the Ravens defense this past season without Ray Lewis for example. They weren't the same team. The Texans beat them 43-13. Sometimes one or two defensive players can make the difference from totally sucking (giving up over 40 points in a game), to being a legitimate unit capable of making key stops during a Super Bowl championship run.
You want players who have that drive to make big plays during the biggest of games. Especially on defense. If you can't stop anybody you have no chance.
