Why? Not a single likable character in the entire show and it's been predictable as fuck so far, not to mention a horribly boring season finale lol.

It's an alright show but 6/10 tops. I think sentiment and yearning for Breaking Bad is the only reason people think so highly of it so far. First season just finished though, Gilligan could come up with some shit and prove me wrong real quick. I just don't think it's that great and there's way too many shows out there that I'd put higher for me to consider this show even above average.



Agreed. That's the only thing that's made it worth watching though, I couldn't give two fucks about Saul at this point and that's not a good thing for the show. Learning some more about Mike was great but it's a dead-end, we all know exactly how his story ends and it makes it hard to become invested in the character. It's not an awful show, it's not a bad show, it's a decent show. I just don't know why so many people are going ape-shit for it. I really haven't been impressed so far.

I can see that, yeah by no means is it 'excellent', putting my BB bias to the side you gotta expect the first season to be slow to introduce us to the cast/characters. I expect the 2nd season to pick up dramatically.

Exactly, which is I fully intend to keep giving it chances. It's entertaining, which is enough for now. It's just freaking me out a little bit how people are rating and raving about this show and it's honestly just so-so thus far. I'm hoping it picks up and I think it will. I just believe in giving credit where credit is due, and this show certainly hasn't earned it yet. it's got plenty of time and it'll make three seasons regardless, even if it's trash, just because it's BB related lol. They've got plenty of time to wow me and I hope they do.

From what I hear, Gus will be making an appearance eventually. That should be awesome..

I do hope for more action myself, especially with Mike. He was my favorite character in BB, probably one of mine of all time to be honest. I get the whole lawyer storyline, but at this point it's just feeling forced down our throats with every episode.

I'm sure he will. I just wish they would stop trying to force feed us shit we don't care about or shit we already know about. The mike sideline is good but they're catering hard to people who already love him (everyone) and it's like beating a dead horse. Pulling out Gus would be the same sort of trick. I wish they would focus more on the original characters that they've created, the Nacho sideline has my interest and I think they should run with that next season and then maybe connect that to Gus.

It's still early and I think they'll keep the show good. I just think people need to get off it's nuts with recommending it as the best show ever. It's not bad, nothing more, nothing less.

Absolutely, I think next season will be a good place for basis of the show. Have yet to see the season finale though, will catch up tomorrow.

I do hope they are more original and not piggyback off everything BB, as you said. This is it's own show for a reason.
