Oblivion wasn't made for an Xbox controller, which is weird because it was eventually ported to Xbox. You have to install a software program called xpadder to get the controller to essentially perform actions as if it were a keyboard. On a related note, I can now use my htpc with an Xbox controller as if it were a mouse lol. With another mod, I could play d2 via Xbox controller lmao.

Morrowind was definitely a PC release first, but i guess I always though Oblivion was more of a console game overall because the Xbox was so big around that time. Hm. I have an after work gathering tonight but after I'm coming home for sum much-needed Skyrim time.

Sorry to hear about the layoff, but it sounds like it's for the better. Easier to be frugal in winter too 😎

I was offered two classes to teach, but they were about film/cinema, which has nothing to do with my area of study lol. I mean, I probably could have bullshitted my way through it, staying one page ahead of the students, but then I probably won't finish my thesis and graduate on time. I would have had to learn a brand new field just to teach a class that I'll probably never teach again. Only benefit would be more job experience.



Sorry to hear that my man. Hopefully it all turns out for the better though.
