If players pass physicals and no one reneges:
MIAMI sends 2017 7th to JAX for Julius Thomas.
JAX send 2018 7th to MIAMI for Branden Albert.

… Blame all parties – injuries, not used enough, etc. He averaged 3.1 YAC on 46 catches in ’15 and 3.3 YAC on 30 catches in ‘16

… Only eight of Thomas' 76 catches with #Jaguars were passes that traveled at least 15 yards in the air. (Wasn't used right)

Injuries played a part, but it's exactly what I said earlier and it was painfully obvious he wasn't being used right. :bonk:

He's alright.

About as good of a Pass blocker as Beachum was, but a better Run blocker than Beachum.

They didn't pick up Beachum's option so there was a huge hole at LT. They most obviously feel Albert is a better fit.

I'm whatever with the move. Not a fan that he's 32 and has an injury history, but he can play LG also.

It's a 2018 7th round draft pick at the end of the day. So it's a low risk, possible high reward move.

They're still going to have to address the LT position even with Albert though. With his injury history, there's a good chance he's going to miss a game, or a few.

#Jaguars carried over all of their left-over money ($39 million) onto this year's cap. That means their "cap" is $206,314,310 per NFLPA

The $206,314,310 is second-highest in the NFL, behind only Cleveland ($217,123,269). #Jaguars
