Shit's crazy. My worst injury was just a severe stage 2 ankle sprain. Docs said it'd heal faster if I'd broken it.
Was on crutches for a month ish and a boot for 2-3 months.

Yeah bro. It I happened to get zaza'd in our Springfest 3 on 3 tournament. Came right on his foot. I got up thinking it was just a tweak and I could play through it.

15 seconds later I'm lying on the ground in the most excruciating pain I've felt. My ankle was swollen bigger than a softball. I have pictures on my old phone, but it snapped in half..
Entire foot was black and blue, the bottom, the toes, EVERYTHING.

My fucking god please never again. I've had plenty of minor tweaks but this is just... Holy shit lol.

Yeah, the surgeon said that I am more than likely going to need another surgery later down the road, around the 5-7 year mark.

The surgeon wanted to initially do a full discectomy, which is a full removal of the disc, but since I am younger than most people that have them, they wanted to wait. One of the dangers of doing a discectomy, since they go in through the front, is that I would never be able to reproduce. So in a few more years I'll probably have them either take the screws and rods out or do the disc removal surgery.
