Politics are fucking awful, but they're important.

It's fine if you don't want to discuss them, but you should be able to at least understand why others would want to discuss something that impacts their country and their lives as much as it does.

If there's something I don't want to read, or if it's from users who I know only ever post useless/stupid stuff, I either block those people, or skip over their shit (most of the time). As people here are unwilling/unable to do that though for whatever reason, I and many others have stopped or cut back immensely on posting about it, which should be appreciated, not complained about.

I mean, I understand their importance. But I'm saying the people that live & breathe politics are the ones I don't understand.

That's understandable. It's too depressing for me to tell the truth. I pay attention and I try to understand what's going on with the bigger things that'll directly impact me or the people I know, but other than Randy, I don't think any of us here spend more than a few hours a week on it. The exception being during elections, and then I tend to spend a significant more amount of time discussing/researching them.

Yeah I totally feel you there. I did some research but it's not really an area I focus on much.

I watch football pretty much all day on Sundays. It's my day off from life. I'll go to the bar, or sit in my room downstairs with my 3 TVs, I usually have 2 on football and then I'm doing school stuff/work stuff/fantasy on the last screen.

If it's a garbage game, I'll just put it on for background noise or w/e. If it's NE, my eyes are glued to the screen.
