My god Overwatch League is going to change the way pro gaming works. Production value is insane.

Oh yeah, Called this a few months ago. gonna change the game BIG TIME. Everything about it. This year all the teams compete at the same 'stadium/venue' then next year each team will have their own, and you travel to them to play each other. Like home and away games. Shits gonna be fucking NUTS

This is the push to making pro gaming mainstream. I remember a few years ago when HWC was on TV, an entire bar watching it. This is so much closer to the way real sports are broadcast though.

They have been working on this for a LOONNNG time. Thats why you havent seen really any 'pro' overwatch until now. They been doing some insane shit to prep for this with a lot of investment and backing.

What they have set up is the future and everyone will be switching to this. No doubt

Why did it have to be for such a cancer fucking game....

Maybe eventually this will lead to a game that's actually worth playing having the same type of setup or better though.
