You made a few decent points, but it doesn't defeat the fact Dilfer has a SB ring that Bortlels and the jags will never have.

Never say never.

One thing is almost certain though, Bortles will have a better career statistically then Dilfer

True. Based on his first couple seasons, he could easily throw more picks than Dilfer if given a few more years under center

Nobody cares about INTs when you throw TDs at 3 times your INT rate.

Dilfer played during a time when the NFL didn't favor the passing game, yet he still threw INTs left and right.

Get some actual logical material if you're really trying to troll (i hope you are) in this thread.

Also, you don't need to explain how superfluous INTs are when you're winning and tossing more TDs. I may or may not be familiar with Brett Favre

Who the fuck is Brett Favre?? I'm pretty sure it's Bert Farve KID.

But exactly dude, Bortles is going to throw INTs. He's a gun slinger (just like Favre was), you gotta take the good with the bad.

He runs around and tries to make plays. That's always who he's going to be and he absolutely makes plays when nothing is there.

His accuracy is the biggest thing he needs to work on. His decision making as well at time, but you have to remember he's going to move around and take chances.

Give this Offense an actual run game and it'll be nasty.

Can't deny he regressed unfortunately, too many passes just not in the right spot. Ive seen him miss too many easy throws this season. Hope he turns it around, a better run game should help as well as another off season of relearning the fundamentals.

I'm not sure he regressed. Definitely seeing more of the same but this year his other weapons were not on point like last year so he was forced to try and do more.

Which lead to more mistakes

Edit: I mean he is a young QB, hopefully another year or two he will develop a bit more
