It's a lot like our southern brethren handle it: you spend most of your time indoors or in a vehicle. You plan around the weather and if you actually have to spend time outside, you are prepared. Below zero temps aren't really that bad unless the wind is gusting. Snowy days mean it's typically warmer. January is typically the worst for cold and it's already warming up this week. 20's and low 30's next week. Pffft. February is typically the worst for big snowstorms. Ez snowmen

Cold is only bad if ice is involved. Snow turns into ice on the roads at these Temps which is miserable for days, otherwise what cheese said. Stay inside or put a hat and coat on.

Well yeah - we’re getting a foot of snow today withanbient temp around 0 overnight and strong winds. Just miserable all around.
