 why am I not suprised at this BS....
We kick our own asses
Edit: Game over. Bottles for the 16th interception thrown. 9 straight losses, franchise record for most straight losses.
It's always something with this team, you can't be surprised by the mistakes at this point of the season.
The Bortles INT doesn't even matter. 4th and 15, with a minute and a half left, he had to throw that. Imagine if he put it in the dirt in that situation, that would have been pathetic. He had to try and force one up.
The holding, or false start (can't remember which exactly it was at the end, since they both happen far too often every game) to start that series was the killer. Been a theme all year with this Offense.
The good thing is, there's some very nice pieces in place for a new coach and staff to work with.
We should also be in place to draft Myles Garrett, or Jonathan Allen. Maybe Jabrill Peppers. He would definitely be an upgrade over Cyprien, which this is the final year of his contract.
Bortles definitely regressed, but he hasn't got a lot of help either. Plenty of other players regressed as well. I believe he's still going to be the starting QB come game 1 next season. He's going to have to really prove it though during the year, because that leash probably wont be very long anymore.
They should have let Gus go after that Thursday Night beat down, via the Titans. But we all knew it was just a matter of time.
