I found the "Pokemon Go" skit the Texans mascot had put together in between quarters during the last game.

The Texans already had a good preseason. Brock Osweiler commanded the offense exceptionally well against the Arizona Cardinals. He showed a lot of good progression from the first two preseason games to that last one. Only two incompletions which were both dropped, and 11-for-13 passing with 146 yards and 1 TD (0 INT). The Texans starters on offense played well and they had a 31-10 halftime lead.
Our pace on offense slowed down considerably in the second half with the backups in the game. We only scored 3 points in the second half but held on to win the game 34-24. I was disappointed with a fourth and goal at the two yard-line, with Tom Savage in the game, that we failed to convert and turned the ball over on downs. That type of stuff will lose us games in the regular season.. We should have picked up points in that situation. Even if it's only a field goal. But since it's the preseason I guess it was a good chance for the backups to work on their goal line packages.
I'm most pleased with Osweiler's quick grasp of Bill O'Brien's offensive system already, but we won't know just how good he can become until Week 1 starts and everything counts. I like the way Brock Osweiler can spread the ball around to all of his targets. DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, Braxton Miller and Jaelen Strong have all looked good. It's nice to have some speedy wide receivers that can make big plays down the field.
I'm sure Will Fuller and Braxton Miller will make their fair share of rookie mistakes...
But both of those guys have big-play potential that can really help change the momentum of a game.
I'm not expecting much on Thursday Night when the Texans play the Cowboys. I'll be shocked if any of the starters play. Going 4-0 in the preseason doesn't mean anything, but the Texans have never done it before. I guess it would be cool seeing them win the so called "Governor's Cup" that the Texans and Cowboys always play for (bragging rights).
I've been excited, of course, but the preseason can only satisfy you so much before you realize it doesn't count.
I'm just ready for Week 1 when the Houston Texans host the Chicago Bears on September 11.
Hopefully J.J. Watt will be ready to play in that game. That's the plan from what I've been hearing.
