Ron is easily the best, but there are plenty of good characters throughout the show. It's got some similarities to The Office, but it's an entirely different show, and they're both brilliant in their own ways. I've watched both from start to finish, and I wouldn't say one stands out as being that much better than the other imo.

Season 1 of Parks and Rec is fucking terrible. You have to force yourself through that, but by season 2, it's pretty fucking phenomenal. I wanted to give up halfway into the season but said fuck it the other seasons can't be this bad. So glad I did.
