first of all, how much college basketball do you watch, honestly? if you're familiar with storylines and recent seasons i'd still wager that you had to feel something watching the Badgers defeat Kentucky last night. Even casual fans were able to identify with that. beating the best to become the best isn't even the biggest bullet point of the tournament, it was vindication from a squad that literally had almost the exact road to the final four as a year ago, and this year was able to hold on an extra 8 seconds longer than they did last season to pull out the W and fight for a chance at a national title. Few gave Wisco a chance against the top team in the country and the stats didn't lie about the mismatches.

You can tell me that you wanted to see history and all that but i think you're bored and enjoying the fact that you know you can make me bite on almost anything

I watch enough to know that it was redemption for Wisc and that's great for them. I congrats them on winning. I'm usually for an upset, just not in this case (even though it was a small upset). I would have preferred to see Kentucky go for history.

I get it that you're a Wisc fan and it would have been awful if it was Kentucky vs Duke because that would mean Wisc lost. That's just about the only reason it would be awful though if Kentucky won. Either that, or you just flat out don't like Kentucky.

I love College Basketball, even though I don't have a specific team that I follow. I root for the Pac 12 of course, but other then that I just like to watch the college game.

Part of me just wanted to make you bite on the subject because I knew you would easily. Honestly though, I really would have preferred to see Kentucky go for the history. Regardless, I now just hope it's a good game from start to finish.

I don't mind Kentucky as much as it is Calipari. The guy just pisses me the fuck off. No other way to explain it really. Can't stand him and watching him piss and moan and then try and collect himself for the post-game interviews and press conferences was better than a Jameson IV on St. Paddy's Day for me.

Badger fandom aside, watching teams that consistently vie for the championship just isn't entertaining for me. In any sport. Even Tarpz agreed with me on that note. Coach K can get to the Sweet 16 and beyond without even getting out of bed. And Kentucky has been grinding out NBA prospects and replenishing the stock year after year. Nice to see someone else contend. Personal opinion ofc

I couldn't give two shits about Kentucky, or Duke, or etc. etc. I simply just wanted a shot at seeing them go undefeated. It has nothing to do with who the coach is, or the school. It could have been any school and I would have been pulling for them if they had a shot at running the table.
