JDR was asked about Sio last night. His reply, "Players get what they earn."
Sio must be sour about him not immediately jumping back into being a starter post-injury and became mad about it, subsequently not work/practicing as hard as he should/used to.

I'm not all that thrilled. Sio was a very talented player. But his maturity has always been an issue. He almost cost us the game against KC last year because he was 20 yards down the field celebrating while the Chiefs were hurrying up. This kinda sucks, but they obviously have a better sense of what's going on than we do.

Good point - last year during OTA's, Sio Moore was demoted to behind Miles Burris, also not receiving many reps in preseason. Ultimately, talent talks in this league so he was of course the starter in the regular season. But disciplinary messages were sent by the team last year as well, with a completely different coaching staff.

Let's not forget he tried to fight Kaepernick in the tunnel at halftime of the SF game last year. Kaep was mic'd up for that game. Sio was being a bit of a bitch.
