Yeah. First half was a rough watch. Defense did great given the offense were sleeping. Second half was a blast. Nailbiter to the end.

Opposing teams have obviously caught onto our short pass + no run game that I think if Ben can buy a little time back in the pocket he can pick apart a secondary since nobody sees us throwing the ball more than like 10 yards haha.

This game showed how dangerous Pittsburgh's receivers are.

When Fichtner actually pushes the ball downfield and opens up space underneath I don't see any defense stopping them. They relied too much on slants and quick passes that teams keyed in on them. They are more than capable of stretching the field but they got complacent because the dink and dunk shit was working.

Hopefully they keep that new mindset of throwing deep balls and holding on to the ball longer than 2 seconds come playoffs. It opens up the run game as well.

It's just a shame it took him a month to realize it. You know when people sitting at home can predict the play calling the other teams def got us figured out haha.

Excellent move this week, resting Ben, Heyward, Pouncey, and Watt. Next week should be a blast. Between the receiver performance today and the rested top of the defense, feeling super positive about the playoffs now.
