Even as a fan throughout this process I am losing faith. Reading fan forums the fans are doing nothing but being enraged about our picks. I'll laugh once Barr or Teddy (possibly netiher of course) pan out and they all come back. I remember back in 09 when all of a sudden there were vikings fans everywhere and I live in Maryland, where do these fans even come from? There have been plenty of rough years and being 0-4 in superbowls never helps (even though I only started watching football during 98).  It's funny because even my dad who is from Minny cheered for them when I was growing up but gave up on them and started cheering for the skins because the vikings disappointed him too much.

I agree most of our Fan base is making me ashamed. Plenty of fans are just talking shit about our own team right now and acting like they could do a better job it's kinda annoying. That being said you quote was hilarious with salisa and I'll see all the vikings "fans" who quit on this team back in a couple years and act like they've been here this whole time

i understand the frustration with the franchise, but not too many seasons ago, the vikings were in the NFC Championship game with the GOAT at QB. so it's not like this is a woebegone franchise. Plenty of other teams have had much longer droughts of one kind or another. even having the best running back in the league doesn't keep fans content. moves have been made tho. team is trying to compete NOW

That's usually what fan forums do, and then next week they'll think he's a future HOFer once they come to terms with the pick. It's usually for the best to avoid fan forums.

There are people on the Ravens boards that think Arthur Brown was a better prospect than Mosley.

I hate fan oriented forums so much.

And I understand going 3-13 one season and 5-10-1 another is a boring season to watch, but that's football. Every team has droughts no one is great all the time, even the packers had their struggles here and there :o but seriously fans are pissing me off

lol. never knowing if favre was going to come back, so many wasted first round picks, having a complete sieve of a defense and getting ravaged by the 49ers every time we play them, being beleaguered by injuries for every recent season including our SB year. there is plenty to gripe about in GB, but the fans stick around. Can't ask for much more

my favorite sequence of posts tonight:

...then minutes later:

Was a shot at ryan's worries about denver/seattle trading out to let teams take carr/bridgewater before the texans at 33

he wasnt my first choice, or even 2nd at QB, but now that he's wearing our laundry im all for him succeeding you dumbass.

you as a packer fan should know that, hell you guys could draft a dead man and he'd be an instant HOF'er in your delusional fans minds

so defensive. wow. no need for hostility just because you had a bigger backpedal than even DM could muster

and you are not even remotely correct on your presumptuous post. Datone was a ridiculous reach last draft and Perry wasn't even the BPA the year before. was a nice theory-craft pick, but as far as a functional pick the last two years, we failed hard.

keep fabricating ideas to make yourself feel better though ;)
