I dunno what to think. From a results stand point... mediocre results...

all things considered.. he did a good job. But we aren't behind the scenes and we don't know the details or what the future entails. Jerry has the teams best interest at heart

rob actually uses a 4-3 defense quite often. you should consider #94 a 4-3 DE and spencer to some degree the same, though he compliments a 5 man front quite well.

If we transition to a traditional 4-3, I think we can expect to see Spencer leave. We can almost certainly count on picking up big DTs in the draft and FA

Sean Lee and Bruce Carter the main stays in a 4-3 Defense? Yes pls.

I loved rob, i really did. He had the heart and fire that I didn't see garrett express to the public eye. But we will still persist. I can't worry about it

Rob will find a HC job somewhere, undoubtedly. if he wants to, that is

uncomfortable off season? check

I think Jerry Jones wanted to fire somebody but he's too loyal to Jason Garrett and has always had a good relationship with him since he was the backup quarterback for the Cowboys two decades ago. Jerry probably ordered Garrett to fire Rob Ryan because he's done it too many times and he wanted to save face somehow.

Jerry once fired Chan Gailey after making the playoffs two years in a row during both of his seasons coaching Dallas in 1998 and 1999. He also fired Wade Phillips, who once went 13-3 with Dallas. There is no reason not to fire Jason Garrett who continues to "NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!"

Wade had too get fired.

He lost his players. Lost the complete locker room. I would die happy too have wade back as our DC

Imagine that and then Rob calls Garrett to tell him.

But truthfully who do you want as our DC?

Horton?

I am not versed in any DC candidates

Lovie smith doesn't seem too bad. Familiar with the 4-3 and we have stud MLBers and DE prospects

I think a 4-3 could be dominant with our personnel... we could just overwhelm the offensive lines...
