I canceled all my Netflix/Hulu etc and cable subscriptions because of the easy fix I’m pretty sure we are both talking about. Now all I pay for is internet. The WJ fan is probably tearing his hair out because he doesn’t know

I know you guys were in the edge of your seats waiting for the final outcome of this. I reset it to factory defaults but there was an option to keep my games. Madden was corrupted but the other games were good so it's only 50 gigs of downloading! Hoping that the corruption on madden is the only problem and this shit is fixed now

I know the learning curve is steep, but once you figure it out, cutting the cable is just about as good.

I'm going through the process right now, building a htpc so I can do literally everything at the TV. You could do nearly everything with just your raspberry pi.

There is A LOT to learn about on the software end of it, but it'll be worth it in the long run. My TV, phone, and internet was about $300 a month. Now that I can get fast internet, it'll be around $70 for 200 Mbps and 1 tb/mo DL, and I will be able to get all of the same programming. I've gotta do the reading first though.

Look into Kodi. It's a highly customizable software that can get you most of what you want
