Xbox wont make it past the green screen.

If this factory reset doesn't work it's probably time for a new one anyway but she's been so good to me for the last 4+ years

Got it to work, but have to play in a small windowed mode.

How old is the game? Did you Google the issue? It could be the same as Diablo where you have to run it in xp compatibility mode

2003, and yeah I've tried everything. Compatibility, editing config file, etc. This seems to be the only thing that works which sucks, I'd much rather have full screen.

Also thought I'd like it with controller but nope, way easier with keyboard/mouse

Found a possible fix where if I take the hard drive out and connected to windows it could repair the drive. Doesnt look like it's gonna work. I don't want to factory reset because it will take me 300 hours to redownload the 4 games I play. I hate slow internet

I don't know why anyone still has cable. Internet is all that's needed, and then maybe a few streaming subscriptions. Can watch everything else for free online.
