Anybody with an IQ above room temperature can tell you that the Vikings haven't faced anybody this year, and that their stats are inflated a bit.

The important factor though, is that they aren't the #1 defense, or the #1 passing defense as you've claimed.

Statistically good (but not #1), but practically average.

Yeah, I haven't heard shit about their defense this year, I think Eggles fans are just gaslighting themselves into thinking every team they face is the best, because they struggle against everybody. Vikings, despite the 2 turnover differential, dominated them in everything but the scoreboard today with a backup QB.

Faced is past tense. I know you don't do well with definitions and terminology, but you can't say they've faced Hurts until after the game is finished. Coming into this game, the Vikings had not faced a top 15 QB, thus their passing defense stats had been pretty wildly skewed.

Jalen comes into this week's game as the 13th best QB by Passer Rating and 10th best QB by QBR.


There is no scrambling going on here, virtually everyone here knows Jalen is an average QB and the Vikings hadn't faced anybody close to being called a "good" QB to this point.
