I've been watching this lions D pretty closely tonight. Mostly just KVN and Palmer.
KVN is EASILY better than Palmer not by miles and miles but I don't think its pretty obvious.
Hopefully coach is just trying to keep KVN on his toes and working hard thru camp to speed up some development
Also, I think having him pack on all this weight was a mistake His quickness coming off the edge and in coverage were his best attributes.

I missed the game last night. Went to a friends house who likes football, figured he'd put on the game. Nope. Instead invited a bunch of ppl over n drank. Not complaining but I love watching the preseason.

First team offense and defense murdered the raiders

Game was lost because of the back ups, stafford was hot as hell, our defense shut down the raiders our dline looked great.

Penalties also murdered the lions, some bad goof ups a lot in key situations like third and down, a flag would come up and give raiders a first down.

What i saw tho... Stafford was awesome and Tate and megaton are gonna kill it.
That front 7 on is really solid. Secondary needs to improve a bit IMO.
