He said "could" relax

Also since youre here, is Jared Odrick any good?

Good against the run, alright rushing the passer. Had a shit load of injuries this season though. He missed 10 games.

He's a solid player when healthy.

Thanks, he visited with the pats recently, and passed a physical (hence why i asked). Although you think Marino > Brady, i still trust your evaluation :)

Marino will always be a better QB than Brady.

Zero chance he makes the HoF.

His numbers are not anywhere close to being HoF worthy.

He'd have to be, hands down the best LB in the league for the next 4-5 straight years and flat out destroy the stat sheets to even be worthy of having his name mentioned.

You're right, it's a long shot, but it's still a possibility, especially if he ends up on a team with a better all around pass rush or a hideously bad offense so he's on the field more.

I don't think he'll make it, but he could, and besides winning a couple of rings and doing your best to make the HoF guys need to get paid. Which is why I understand him leaving NE. We just don't pay people top money, regardless of how instrumental they've been in the team's success. Fuck man, look at guys like Revis and Moss. I still wish we would have kept Moss, but he wouldn't take less and then he started shit talking the team. That's something that'll get anyone, regardless of their skill, immediately booted from the BB cult.

That's where I'm hoping to end up by the end of my life. At my funeral, I'd like someone to go over a stat sheet and say something about how pretty good I was at things and stuff.

He played 708 snaps this year which was 68% of the total Defensive snaps.

He's your typical 2 down LB in this day and age of NFL football.

He'd be best off testing the market to see what his value is, then take that number back to the Pats. Drop that number a few million and resign with the Pats. It's his best fit imo because Bill can help hide some of the things he can't do on Defense.

If he signs a big contract to join some other team and they expect him to be a stud, every down MLB/ILB, they'll be in for a surprise. Can't fault him for chasing the $$ though, if he decides to take it.

He could be back for sure. I'd say 75% chance he leaves/25% he returns obviously that's a wild guess.

Pretty sure other pats players have tested the market and returned, think Edelman did this (correct me if i'm wrong)
