.@Jaguars DE Yannick Ngakoue (@yan_d1prospect) has been nominated for AFC Defensive Player of the Week, as well as Pepsi Rookie of the Week:

Ngakoue is the only player in the @NFL this season w/ sack, FF & INT in a single game.

Leads all rookies in sacks (3) & forced fumbles (3).

DE @yan_d1prospect (21) is the 1st player age 23-or-younger to register 3+ sacks, 3+ FFs & 1+ INT through 1st 4 games in at least 15 seasons

And he's only going to get better B)

Ngakoue already the best player on this shitty team, not surprised.

Meanwhile Kamalei Correa gets washed-out and pancaked with minimal effort, as I feared pre-draft.

You know what the kicker is?

We were going to draft Yannick in the 2nd round, but Myles Jack was still there.

OH yea, we traded with you guys to get Myles and you guys took Correa huh?

Yea, that's right and we still got Yannick in the 3rd round.

Thanks. B)

you're just beating a dead horse m8; we're already in agreement Ngakoue is gr8 and Correa sux

Unless Correa can play ILB (which he might be able to), he's likely to be a bust. He'd probably be ideal as a 4-3 Will. Reminds me of Arthur Brown all over again lol

I know, I just wanted to rub it in a little bit.

Didn't Correa play DE at Boise St.?

Is he getting much playing time for you guys? I think I remember seeing him like once during our game a couple weeks ago.

Correa played his first defense snap @ Jags, which was that pass defended that bortles threw to somewhere on the left. I think he had 5 total defensive snaps that game, getting easily stood-up and made helpless by your RT on one of the final snaps of the game. All I noticed him do vs the Raiders the other day was get stone-walled by their OT--it was like watching a fly buzz into a window. Basically if he doesn't win with speed he's helpless, and he can't hold-up against runs coming at him.

I think Correa played OLB, DE, and some ILB at Boise St. He played all over the field, never really learning 1 position.
