barr was a reach. thats just a fact, whether or not he turns out to be a great player we could have easily traded down more and still gotten him. im not happy at all with him at #9, but i do like the swap with cleveland for that extra pick. if we go LB wouldve rather had mosley.

Who is to say there was a team willing to trade up, got a player that we still needed and Zimmer has always been able to get the best out of his linebackers, I trust they know what they are doing with this coaching staff

Even as a fan throughout this process I am losing faith. Reading fan forums the fans are doing nothing but being enraged about our picks. I'll laugh once Barr or Teddy (possibly netiher of course) pan out and they all come back. I remember back in 09 when all of a sudden there were vikings fans everywhere and I live in Maryland, where do these fans even come from? There have been plenty of rough years and being 0-4 in superbowls never helps (even though I only started watching football during 98). It's funny because even my dad who is from Minny cheered for them when I was growing up but gave up on them and started cheering for the skins because the vikings disappointed him too much.

I agree most of our Fan base is making me ashamed. Plenty of fans are just talking shit about our own team right now and acting like they could do a better job it's kinda annoying. That being said you quote was hilarious with salisa and I'll see all the vikings "fans" who quit on this team back in a couple years and act like they've been here this whole time
