Because Savage is a project QB... Brian Hoyer I didn't really want, but I guess he'd be a good backup. Mallett is likely to start and he looked great against Cleveland(Top 10 in passing defense, top 10 in passing TDs allowed, and had the 2nd most INTs). He got hurt the next week against Cincy, so we don't know how good he'll be but in both of those games he had great command of the offense, just struggled with accuracy in the cincy game. I'll give Hoyer the benefit of the doubt because he was missing Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron, couldn't rely on his RBs, and his 3 WRs were Andrew Hawkins, Miles Austin, and Taylor Gabriel.
