I think Case earned a roster spot for next season.

Our defense was exceptional. Best win this year.

The Texans make the playoffs with a home win over the Jaguars next Sunday, along with a Chiefs home win over the Chargers and a Browns road win at Baltimore. All three games start at 12 noontime central. So we can watch our game while scoreboard watching.

The Chiefs will do everything they can to beat the Chargers because the Chiefs can still make the playoffs if they win and the Ravens and Texans lose. KC will be tough at home.

I'm more worried about needing the Browns to upset the Ravens on the road. Just a month ago the Browns were looking like a legit contender but they have fallen apart fast. We can't control that other stuff. Just need to beat the Jaguars.

However the Ravens O-Line is best up and looks.pretty bad. If the Browns can play aggressive Defense I feel pretty good, No run game for Baltimore right now. The Browns just need to play hard. That can be hard to do with nothing to play for.

Hopefully Brian Hoyer starts at Baltimore. Manziel is awful and him hurting his hamstring today may be a good thing. Hoyer threw an 81-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter. They took a 13-10 lead at Carolina with Hoyer in the game. But they came up short 17-13.

It's hard to believe we can make the playoffs with Case Keenum at quarterback.

The winner of that 6th seed and final wild-card spot in the AFC will likely have to travel to Pittsburgh or Cincinnati for the wild-card game. Maybe at Indianapolis. I think the Chargers are better equipped to win a road playoff game. It would seem weird to see the Texans sneak into the playoffs but I'm a Texans, Chiefs and Browns fan on Sunday.

J.J. Watt made a strong case for MVP consideration in the 2014 season, often dominating opposing teams by making plays on both defense AND offense.

If Case Keenum plays well today should the Texans bring him back next season?
He would end the season with a 2-0 record. Ryan Mallett is a free agent as well.

It would be nice to make the playoffs. It's unlikely both the Chargers and Ravens both lose.
Here in Houston FOX is showing the Texans-Jaguars and CBS is showing the Chargers-Chiefs.

I'll be keeping an eye on all three games at the same time. The Browns better not give up at Baltimore.
I didn't like their decision to suspend Josh Gordon. As if they weren't up against it starting Connor Shaw. Who?

This is going to be a long off-season. I'm ready for Week 1 of 2015 in September already,
Also the league MVP announcement. Going to be tough to out-vote Aaron Rodgers.

50 members of the media will vote on the 2014 Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) award before the playoffs start on January 3. The NFL’s MVP voting procedure differs from the other major professional team sports in this country because a points system isn’t used. For example, the NBA MVP is determined by voters ranking their top-five candidates on a 10-7-5-3-1 points system. Instead, each NFL voter selects a single player as MVP, with selectors sometimes splitting a vote between two players. The results will be announced on January 31, the day before Super Bowl XLIX, during the NBC televised NFL Honors Awards Show in Phoenix, Arizona.

So the MVP votes were already submitted about three days ago.
But we have to wait until January 31 for the official announcement.

J.J. Watt, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo were said to be the five main players the voters had voted for. But the NFL isn't allowed to leak the final results until the end of the month.
