Hope we beat the Bengals this Sunday in our home stadium.

It's gonna be LOUD in there.

I've always been an Andy Dalton fan because he's from Katy, Texas but the guy is going to take a beating on Sunday. Our defense is just now healthy again. Clowney and Cushing were both making plays in the last game along with Watt beasting as usual. We went into the season thinking we had a top five defense but injuries have derailed us.

Brian Hoyer was knocked out with some vicious blows and took ten seconds to get up more than once in the last game. I'm shocked the Browns didn't pull him from that game. They had Johnny Manziel warming up on the side line numerous times. I don't know who the Bengals backup quarterback is but I expect him to play at some point on Sunday.

Offensively, the Texans looked like a much more capable unit with Ryan Mallett behind center. And that was without Arian Foster, who may or may not play against the Bengals. I have full confidence in Alfred Blue moving forward. I think this team is capable of winning all six games games left and finishing the season 11-5 with seven wins in a row.

Two of our toughest games (Bengals and Ravens) are at home. The Titans game is at home. We should beat the Jaguars twice. The only game we won't be favored to win is at Indianapolis on December 14 but that game could be for all the marbles. With the winner taking the AFC South division title in 2014. We're 0-12 all time at Indianapolis as well. I think we're due to win there don't you think? We need to batter Andrew Luck around and bring the pain. The Texans defense is coming alive at the right time for a stretch run.

But one game at a time. All that matters right now is beating the Bengals on Sunday.

JJ Watt catches Ryan Fitzpatrick's 6 TD pass of the day

That is J.J. Watt's fifth touchdown this season, the same as Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green and Le'Veon Bell..

6-6 record. Four games left to play: At Jaguars, at Colts, Ravens and Jaguars.
Only thing that matters for now is beating the Jaguars at Jacksonville on Sunday.
Fighting their way back to a winning record at 7-6 would be something to watch.

Even if the Texans come up short of making the playoffs they played hard this season. Some unfortunate injuries to key players such as Jadeveon Clowney, Arian Foster, Brian Cushing and Kareem Jackson. They lost to a lot of playoff contenders this season: Cowboys (overtime), Colts, Steelers, Bengals and Eagles.

The only game they lost to a bad team this season, record wise, was against the Giants on the road. But the Giants are a deceivingly bad team that has a two-time Super Bowl champion head coach and quarterback with an embarrassment of riches at the wide receiver position. And they're actually not that bad at home. They nearly beat the Cowboys at home a few games back.

I'd love to see the Texans finish 10-6 and sneak into that final wild-card spot in the AFC. 9-7 or 8-8 is more likely. But regardless I think they have a great chance to become a good football team in 2015. They have shown this 2014 season that they aren't far away from being able to compete with the best teams and that says a lot coming off a 2-14 season in 2013. It was asking for a lot to think we could beat the big boys this season. We were the worst team in the NFL last season for a reason.

I want to discuss the Texans 2015 NFL mock draft but we're not out of the playoff race just yet. And likely won't be after beating the Jaguars on Sunday. Maybe in two or three weeks. I'm ready to receive my free slushie drink from Sonic on Tuesday. Looking forward to another one the following Tuesday.

It's hard to do what the Texans have done this season without a reliable quarterback and without a healthy team. Bill O'Brien has done a fine job as a rookie head coach under the circumstances. He's looking like the right type of head coach you can build a team around. All we need is a good quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick was awesome today: 24-for-33, 358 passing yards with 6 TDs and 0 INTs but it was against the lowly Tennessee Titans. He was taken out of the game due to a blowout with 8:16 left in the fourth quarter or else he might have thrown for a seventh touchdown.

Texans receiver Andre Johnson has spent lots of money on toys for local kids in protective services' care for eight straight years. He also poses with the receipts for media. So, here's your annual 2014 photo of Andre Johnson holding some long receipts.

Andre Johnson gives children with the Harris County’s Department of Family Protective Services an 80-second shopping spree at Toys "R" Us. Johnson spent more than $26,000 on toys, electronics and bikes this year. In addition he also buys every child any gaming system they want with two games.

Ryan Fitzpatrick: unlocked elite mode

Jaguars, Colts, and Ravens are ranked 24th, 25th, and 31st for passing defense.

Fitz could get 25 TDs this year.

All the ESPN playoff pictures show all the 7-5 teams. No sight of the 6-6 Texans.
I hope we win all four games left and end up 10-6 just to burst somebody's bubble.

Now who will be our QB next season? Any one good we could draft? Anyone in our roster already?

I'll be cheering on Tom when they play the Ravens then the Jags again.
