He's the one who signed the 4year deal and he should honor it. He is definitely worth more but if he thought that he should have signed a shorter contract. I hope they can work things out before the season starts though. Think they only got 5mil left to spend as well.

Don't disagree at all but the fact is it's a business if I signed a form saying im willing to work for 4.50 an hour and then they hire you for 9.00 an hour and the boss gets the same productivity out of both of us.....I'm going to want a raise.

Im just kind of looking over the least loss over who needs to be cut because they dont have the money to do anything else. I think it's going to go down to Cary Williams. That being said if they do that free's up space for a center as well.

Except he is still one of the top paid SS's in the league. I don't mind holdouts when they make sense, if they're near the end of a deal or severely underpaid...Kam is neither, same with Bennett.

Frankly its pathetic. I guess Earl, Sherm, Russ, and Wagner should all holdout in a year or two since someone else signed a new deal making more than them...

Salary is usually based on the position, not what everyone else got paid though.

True but I think his issue is guaranteed money and the fact that he's basically the tone setter and vocal coach. Nobody else can do the job. He knows it.

As good as he is, he is easily the most replaceable of the LOB. He is also a traditional SS, something not a lot of teams use nowadays as the safety position has become more interchangeable...he is not Eric Berry, who is one of the TWO SS paid more than him, the other got a whole (Reshad Jones) makes a whole 10k more than him over 4 years. I've heard mixed reports on what he wants, better guarantees or a raise...
