I live in the country in VA--not much crime

I live in Baltimore and work in DC, crime is insane right now. One of our contractor crews got shot at. One of my coworkers was approached by a panhandler and politely declined, he then followed her to where she was ordering lunch from and snatched money out of her hand. Crews are getting their cars broken into on a weekly basis even with (albeit third party) security on site. It's sad.

Not sure if a mayor has the ability to stop a bunch of criminals from committing crimes lol

At one point it would have, but it wasn't nipped at the bud.

Democratic cities is redundant.

There is more crime in cities because there are more people.

my buddy actually had a contracted security get shot/killed there like 6 months ago. He was contracted to oversee some section 8 building. He said something along the lines of the people in the community essentially raid/cause damage to government funded housing lmao but the government just keeps pumping money into as it burns to ground essentially.

Where else do they pump the millions of tax dollars people pay other than their pockets?
