I'm officially retiring from NFL bets. LOL. I think I went 8-27 on NFL bets in 2012.

lol no you aren't  FG comes and goes, all that matters if you enjoy the games you bet on and have fun!

I'd be surprised though if Reed left Baltimore after a long career with the organization.
He should play his last year with us and go down as a legend with the team.

Yeah probably. Although they seem to make a younger turn with signing Flacco long term and letting go Boldin. We'll see.

Texans GM Rick Smith is en route to pick up Ed Reed

http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexans/2013/03/texans-gm-rick-smith-is-en-route-to-pick-up-ed-reed/

The Houston Texans announced on their official Twitter this morning that general manager Rick Smith is on his way, in owner Bob McNair’s private plane, to pick up safety Ed Reed.

Reed, 34, has spent his entire 11-year career with the Baltimore Ravens and is a nine-time Pro Bowler and eight-time All Pro selection. There was some talk he might retire near the end of the season, but during the playoffs, Reed made it clear that wasn’t true.

This is Reed’s first visit, and more often than not players don’t leave their first visits without a contract. The Texans are making a strong (and apparently public) push to sign the future Hall of Famer.
