I think we need to go to a patriots scheme.

Develop cole beasley in the slot and turn him into our wes welker. Force the safeties too creep in and let dez and jason witten oppose the middle of the field

We already use Beasley in the slot in some personnel sets. There was a 5 wide package we used a few weeks ago with Dez and Harris on the outside with Miles and Cole in the slot and Witten tight right. It was sickening

the problem with beasley is that we use Miles in the slot quite often and Beasley is not an outside receiver by any means unless it's a vertical or maybe a double move route which we have yet to see.

So we could only use Beasly in 5 wide sets( if we aren't putting Miles on the outside, which isn't a bad idea.)
Miles is the superior slot receiving option when 100%. He owns slot CB, S and LBers that try to cover him. Cole just has great speed and agility in cuts. he improvises well as well

Miles just let us down the last month of the season with dropped passes.

If miles does stay everything is promising if he can stay healthy.

With Dez Bryant going nuts this second half of the season alot of teams are going to shade his side and miles will have 1on1 coverage.

Dont think Beasley is good enough to fill that roll. Why not go after a free agent like Amendola?

I'd rather try to develop Beasley than try to sign a slot receiver in FA lol. Those slot receivers aren't the type you want to pay big $ for.
Hopefully the cowboys stop giving monster $ to one year wonders.
