told you so lol. we are going to have a very heavy pass offense this year. i know you want brown and wilson to carry us, but eli is going to spread the ball more than he ever has this year.

It's not that I want Wilson and Brown to carry us it's that Coughlin LOVES to run the football.

We will air it out but we will see more of a run game than we have the past few seasons. For one because the run this year WILL be effective, very effective, you can count on it. Both Brown and Wilson make things happen.

i see us doing more shotgun/draws than anything. the 1 thing we 100% downgraded in is our pass protection from our rb. bradshaw was a beast back there. i see us doing more 3wr/te/rb sets to spread the field, and run against 7 in the box. just my theory really, but with our personnel it only makes sense to run our o like that.

We're going to see a mixture of things, and hopefully if our O-line blocks better we will finally see some 4 WR sets :o

Bradshaw was one of the best RB's in pass protection but Wilson is up to the task as is Brown. Pope will teach them blocking.

Cruz FINALLY signs his 1 year tender....

Will continue working on a long term contract. He's said to want $9m/y but the Giants offer is $8m

Still this is great news

He's probably still going to holdout until he gets his long term deal.

I wouldn't be on it.

Cruz has no leverage here. If he chooses to play under his tender for this season and doesn't agree on a contract we can franchise him the following year. Basically we would have Cruz a minimum two years at bargain price and then obviously he would be gone after that.

Giants and Cruz will work something out, he's not going anywhere. He's said a million times he wants to play for the Giants. Not worried about it. He'll report on time and him and Eli will get together soon to make up for missed time.(Like they did at DUKE this off season).

NYDN: Giants Offer to Cruz Now $8 Million

Quote
According to one source who has been in contact with Cruz’s camp, the Giants’ latest offer is worth an average of more than $8 million per season. But word is that Cruz, who was once looking to be paid the $11 million per year that No. 1 receivers have been getting in free agency lately, is refusing to settle for anything less an average of $9 million.

Giants won't move from $8 millon for Cruz but are optimistic

Told Giants will not move on offer of $8 million/year. But also told optimism in bldg after Cruz came in. Same person he's always been.
