They took 3 DEs in this draft and it's not in case Fowler busts, it's because we only have Fowler at that position and we need at least 2 other guys behind Fowler who play that same position.

says OLB, but looks like he is a DE. There is a chance Flower is a Bust. I hope not, but will see.

OLB and DE are loose terms, depending on whatever defensive schemes a team runs. Our LEO position is basically a pass rushing OLB in a 3-4 front, but he lines up with his hand in the dirt on our 4 man DL, as a DE. Our whole scheme (just like the Seahawks) is based on getting constant pressure from just a 4 man rush.

Our LEO DE always lines up on the weakside of the Offensive Line. He might be at the RDE spot one play and he might then line up at the LDE on the next play. The whole point of the LEO DE is to get a 1 on 1 match up vs the OT, every snap.

There's a chance every player is a bust, but I'm not worried about Fowler busting. I think he'll be a productive player in the NFL. He might not ever lead the league in sacks (one can hope though), but I think he'll have a good career in the NFL. He played pretty much every position on the front 7 at Florida and that can only help him.

He was 263 when we drafted him and he's down to 255 right now, while adding more muscle to his frame. He was only 20 years old when we drafted him. His body hasn't even physically matured yet, much like a lot of our young talent on this team.

Today's the 1 year anniversary of Fowler tearing his ACL.

So looking forward to seeing this guy on the field.

Adam Gase had our rookies study schemes, different routes, etc. much more playbook stuff than actual drills with our rookies so far. Probably saw Fowler as a cautionary tale and I cant fault him for the decision.

Yea the Jags changed the way they do their rookie camps now. They said they've went back and forth about rookie camps even before the Fowler injury.

Pretty much the same as Gase is doing. Any drills that would be going on would be individual stuff.

8-8 or bust for jags, although I suspect AFC south could send 2 teams to the playoffs this year

AFC is stacked

Jags add bjoern Werner to the mix. Hopefully we can do better than 20th place for sacks this year with him and fowler in the mix

He always was out of place in the Colt's 3-4 Defense. Maybe he can get some production back coming over to our 4-3 front. He's a camp body at the very least though.

gl to you guys as well.

There's a lot of optimism going around this team right now. We've seen it before during the off season, but nothing like this. It's time to see some real results.
