Only got to watch the 1st round of the draft.

Was sitting in a hospital all day and all night Friday watching my dad slowly pass away.

He passed away at 12:20am on Saturday, April 30th. He fought for over 6 hours off of life support.

Obviously I was not in the mood and had other things to do than watch the draft on Saturday.

Rest in Paradise Dad. I love you.

He would have been so shocked and excited for us getting both Ramsey and Jack.

We talked every week about the draft for the past 3 months. I just wish I could talk to him about it one last time. Wednesday was the last time I got to talk to him.

I still can't believe he's gone.

Hardly any consolation, but the Jags crushed the draft. When the Jags sniped Ngakoue and Ramsey, it seemed like karma for all the times I sniped you in fantasy drafts.

Can't say I really know much about Ngakoue. I know he'll be a LEO in our scheme and he's basically a DPR at this point.

Ngakoue is a DPR, but he is a proven one. He routinely beat 1st-round O-linemen like Schreff (sp), Conklin, and Decker with his speed. No doubt in my mind he at least succeeds as a DPR in the pros. Shame he was stuck with such a shitty MD team his final season--he seems comparable to Leonard Floyd tbh, just comes from a smaller school.

I assume paradise comes with front-row seats, so your pops will be able to watch the jags ball-out in style. Hang in there m8

My dads a Saints fan, so he knew first hand the struggles of watching a terrible team for years and years. Much like my Jags. He got to see his Saints win a Super Bowl though.
