Looks like we re-signed Danieal Manning too, gotta pass his physical though.

Claimed a few players off waivers and cut Case Keenum.

I like the moves a lot.

The secondary will look good if the pass rush is as strong as I believe it will be this season. A lot of veterans in the secondary. Most of them sat out the preseason like Johnathan Joseph. Kareem Jackson played a little bit. Danieal Manning can continue to help mentor D.J. Swearinger. I didn't like it when the Texans let Danieal Manning go in the first place.

At least now I can still use his signature. LOL

Fantasy Sleeper for 2014? Arian Foster: Comeback player of the year also.

I'm ready to see Arian Foster back on the field. He sat out the entire preseason but he's going to start on Sunday against the Redskins.

Ryan Mallett has looked great in every practice with the Texana so far - he's already picked up Bill O'Brien's offense in only a few days - and was very accurate with every throw. His arm strength is the best on the team. He's already been elevated to second string ahead of rookie Tom Savage. It probably won't be long until he becomes the starting quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick will start against the Redskins on Sunday but he better play well.

"I’m glad I’m not a rookie doing this, because that would be tough," Mallett said. "Being my fourth year I kind of understand the ins and outs of the league, how it works, so it’s definitely helped me in that aspect."

"I knew what he expected out of his team," Mallett said of O'Brien. "He wants to be good, he wants to be great, so that’s what we’re trying to do. That’s why we go to work every day and pay attention to details and try to get better as a team."

Bill O'Brien says that Ryan Mallett has The “It” Factor.

Two more days to go until kickoff. Let's go baby!

A home game against an NFC team. That means that FOX is going to air this game.

Hopefully I'm not busting out the drinks halfway through the fourth quarter like almost every game last season.

Those bright lights really glare strong at the Texans practice bubble dome. Really hot day outside this morning.

It feels like the calm before the storm right now. A lot of anxiousness is setting in before kickofff at noontime on Sunday. The last time the Houston Texans won a game was September 15, 2013 when they won a home game (30-24 in overtime) over the Tennessee Titans.

That's basically an entire year of not winning a game. So I expect to see the Texans come out like desperate and hungry wolves tomorrow. The Redskins are a good looking team on paper with an explosive offense so it's going to be a challenge. I'm probably going to watch a few college football games or movies today. Trying to relax on Saturday before the big game on Sunday.

You can expect the next 35 hours to move by very slowly... Seconds feel like minutes, minutes feel like hours and hours feel like days.

12 more hours until kickoff. Let's go! Let the Watt, Clowney and Cushing trio begin.

How do you think Fitzpatrick will pan out in his Texans debut Ryan?
