So did you end up cancelling the order completely?

As soon as they were saying that my payment was rejected on their end, but Chase was saying it went through as far as their system could tell, yes, I cancelled it.

Actually, now that I was looking through the emails again, I completely forgot about this gem:

Dear Stephen,
Thank you so much for your effort and kindness.
Firstly, PLS accept my sincerest apology for the mistake. We just recieve the notice from our payment service provider that the your payment was rejected. Or we should make full refund to you. U can check it with your bank too.

Would u kindly pay it by western union after receiving your refund? As the compensation, we will send one regular NFL jersey free of charge to u. U do not need to add the free item to your order list. Just email us the info of free item after finishing your payment. Also, u can enjoy extra 11.5% OFF if you pay it by western union.

Sincerely sorry for this issue. The FULL refund regarding to #abc (Transaction Number: asdfdsfahgfsdfsadaf) was made from our payment provider on 2015-01-16
Due to international transaction and Foreign Exchange Control of China, you may not receive it immediately. It may delay some days up to 3-10 business days occasionally. Sincerely sorry for the delay.
If there is anything we can do for you, just feel free to contact us.
Best wishes,
Karma

(PS: you may receive the notification of refund from our payment provider within 1-5 business days too)

Maybe they're good for smaller orders - Terps did just fine with them. However I wouldn't order bulk.

I guess they are really alert, but I've never really had a job where I am spending in many different places without using a corporate card. Like I said, I do like TD - they are a great bank (my gf + multiple friends use them, as they are in my home town). I just figured, at least for my purposes when I was opening the chase account, I would get some bonus for letting the bank's investors get their hands on my money jaja.

Their customer service employees emailed me informing me that my payment didn't go through. Chase told me it specifically did go through, and I had to even verify it was a legitimate transaction and that I wanted chase to process it.

The site's CS employees were insistent on the fact that the payment was rejected (directly from their email to me: "Due to international transaction and Foreign Exchange Control of China, you may not receive it [the refund] immediately. It may delay some days up to 12-22 business days occasionally. Sincerely sorry for the delay. If there is anything we can do for you, just feel free to contact us."), but Chase said there was no reason it would take 12-22 business days. Chase had me email the site's CS team the phone number for the chase fraud security team so they could directly discuss it, but chase said they never called.

I would absolutely use a CC if you plan on buying from there.

I have a company card, but can't really put random snacks, liquor store trips, and such on there. Gas/hotel/meals are always covered.

i ordered around $300 worth of shit so i could get a nice shipping discount. went in on the order with a friend and they left out several items (phone case, Pro Bowl Rodgers Jersey and a Brewers jersey) yet they refused to provide the unaccounted for items bc the screenshots i took weren't sufficient they claimed.

so if you order from China:

Use a credit card
Keep the order relatively small if possible
save the confirmed order page/screenshot it
be ready for a decent wait and awful customer service
overall, i didn't really mind the items that didn't come because i still got 4 decent jerseys and a nice hoodie for damn cheap. hard to argue. one of the jerseys was a special edition and complete garbage. gave it to a bitch i used to live with. huehuehue

I would, but I don't want to ruin my laptop and my friend's apartment.

Wouldn't it be nice if companies encouraged you to put alcohol on the card? I remember thinking that the company was missing out on some serious spend by not allowing that. They wouldn't even have to reimburse it -_-

I personally always use paypal for shady shit like that. I ordered 2 pairs of fake oakleys. One was fine, the other wasn't the style that I ordered. I contacted the site and requested they ship the correct pair but they tried telling me I had to pay shipping again (20 bucks). I was like lolno and they tried to get big with me. I documented the emails, took pictures of what I received in comparison to what I ordered, and made a paypal claim. I only requested a 50% refund since the other pair were fine, but I ended up getting a full refund and the glasses.
